This project started with tearing down a small metal pool shed that housed the mechanical equipment for the in-ground pool, then removing a small concrete pad and one tree. A continuous floor system was framed resulting in a 16' x 28' footprint. Over this area a 17'x 16' building was built, leaving 3' on the north side as a walkway to access the new mechanical room and storage room. 8' of deck was left open to facilitate the open pergola area on the south end.
This building was framed and trimmed out to match the architecture of the existing house. The pergola area houses a natural gas, built-in barbecue with side burner, for outdoor cooking.
