Once the decision was made to stay in this home, various upgrading was considered. One item to address was the dated front facade. To start, the front entry was expanded outward to increase the space to welcome visitors.
The design incorporated new columns which supported a new front entry roof. A large welcoming wood-look front door system was installed. All the existing exterior finishes were removed, including the original Tyndal Stone. In it's place, fiber cement siding, cellular PVC trims, aluminum and cedar soffits, and cultured stone were applied to the entire house front.
These Winnipeger's are very happy they stayed put. If you thought you knew the home before, you'll need to use the house numbers to find it now!
Oswald Construction also came back to do some major updates in the interior of the house. Check out that Project here!
