Project Overview

An exquisite and tasteful three storey addition to this 100-year-old North River Heights classic remains a favourite of ours. From the enviable main floor mud & laundry room, to the third-floor play place nestled high up in the old White Oak tree, this satisfied all of the owner’s wishes. Abundant natural light and seamless transitions to the original house make this space feel truly connected to its surroundings. While we were there, we shored up an old front addition, opened up the kitchen space – creating a one-of-a kind island – and snuck into the cold and drafty basement to make it as warm and cozy as all basements should feel. Homes of this age, undergoing projects of this magnitude, require ingenuity, expertise and skill – all of which are evident throughout.
